Make health a priority again

Huawei knows that lockdown hasn’t done much for our health, what with the numerous Netflix binge marathons, more time to eat unhealthy snacks, and less opportunity for physical activity.

Luckily, Huawei has the solution. If you purchase the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e online or at participating online stores* before 30th June, then you’ll get a free pair of HUAWEI Sport Lite Bluetooth Earphones and a free HUAWEI Smart Scale. This means that you can set and track your fitness goals on the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e and keep an eye on your steady weight loss on the HUAWEI Smart Scale, all the while listening to our favourite ‘get-up-and-go’ tracks. The smartwatch is priced at R3499, but the inclusion of these free gifts mean the online launch offer is valued at R5197.

If you miss this special offer, then don’t worry as Huawei has something else in store. From 1 July if you purchase the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e at MTN and Cell C stores, or Telkom via their call centre, then you’ll get a free pair of HUAWEI Sport Lite Bluetooth Earphones valued at R999. From 7 July this special offer will also apply to Vodacom and Cellucity stores.

Introducing the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e is the newest addition to the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 Series. This 46mm fitness watch is stylish, with a unibody design, an integrated 1.39-inch AMOLED high precision touch glass display and a choice of nearly 200 watch faces.

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e provides a tracking function for up to 100 sports. In addition to the original 15 sport modes, there are 85 customised sport tracking modes so that you can explore and be inspired to try new sports. For each exercise, the smartwatch will record data such as exercise time, calories, heart rate, workout outcomes and recovery time.

This latest fitness watch in the HUAWEI WATCH GT series features the all-new self-developed TruSeen™ 3.5 heart rate monitoring technology. Combined with AI smart heart rate algorithms, heart rate monitoring is now faster and more accurate. On top of this, the device can track your heart rate intelligently in real-time, 24 hours a day, as well as check your sleep quality to improve your mental state and energy levels throughout the day.

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e also provides suggestions on how to improve your sleep quality, if you are not sleeping well. Another impressive feature Huawei has added to this fitness device is its blood oxygen saturation (SP O2) monitoring, which is particularly useful during these times when respiratory health is so important.

Thanks to the low-power Kirin A1 chipset, Huawei’s first self-developed chipset for wearable products, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e provides a long battery life of two weeks under typical user scenarios, including heart rate monitoring enabled for 24 hours, scientific sleep monitoring at night, average weekly workout time of 90 minutes (with location enabled), notifications on and weekly music playback of 30 minutes.
